Jungle Safari In Pilibhit Tiger Reserve - Barahi Gate
Pilibhit Tiger Reserve Barahi Gate is becoming a very popular safari entry point as one of the most thrilling with the possibility of having a real jungle safari, particularly after it was officially opened as Zone 2 entry points in 2025. In the beautiful Terai scenery of Uttar Pradesh, the Barahi Gate will provide a new and exciting path to the tourists, having dense forests, open meadows and natural waterways that offer a rich wildlife to the visitors.
Next to the Barahi Gate, there is Zone 2, famous due to its serene nature and primeval forest look. It has a wide zone of sal forest, undergrowth and places where animals are often moving around. Having less cars than previous gates, this area gives a more exclusive safari experience. There is indeed a growing trend to see tigers here as they tend to move through these remote forest corridors. One can also find leopards, swamp deer, sambar, hog deer, wild boars as well as a variety of bird species thriving in the wetlands.
All the safaris are escorted by these trained guides and forest personnel and it assists them to follow animal tracks, identify animal voices and provide a safe and environmentally friendly adventure. - Every required permit and entry fee are paid before you can have an easy visit.
- The package covers all the applicable taxes, it is transparent.
- Transport in of pickup and drop in other locations is not part of the package.
- An extra amount of sight see beyond the booked route safari is not covered.
- This package does not entail healthcare or emergency costs in the course of safari.
- Soft drinks, hard drinks, camera charges, tips and personal expenses are excluded.
- If applicable, the traveler will have to incur payment gateway fees.
Important Rules and Regulations for Jungle Safari
- All safari activities are strictly subject to weather conditions. In case of heavy rain, fog, storms, or any unsafe weather situation, safaris may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled by the Forest Department forguest safety. - Government ID Requirement: For each gypsy safari, Government ID(Driving License, Aadhaar Card, Passport) of at least one passenger is mandatory, along with Name, Age & Gender (Male/Female) of all passengers for permit issuance.
- In a Gypsy safari, a maximum of 6 persons are allowed, including up to 2 children under 5 years of age.
- All international travelers who visit the park are required to have a passport.
- When making your safari booking, give the right preferred date and time slot (Morning/ Evening). Safari slots may change as per forest department availability.
- The jungle safari booking system is on the first come, first served basis depending on the availability.
- In case of a weekly off/closure by the sanctuary, a safari in an alternate zone will be arranged or rescheduled to another day. If alternate zone arrangement and rescheduling are not possible and the permit is not made, then the safari amount will be refunded within 7 to 10 working days.
- Booked safari with your name cannot be transferred on an entry permit issued to anyone.
- Only officially registered safari guides shall be assigned based on the given safari zones; they are not to be changed in terms of guide or naturalist in case of any request.
- Each of the visitors has to follow the Wildlife Protection act, and the rules and regulations of the parks.
